Just a few testimonials from happy stoners who took a Vansterdam Pot Tour!
Thank you for the tour and the list of sites to see. The tour was one of the "high"lights of our trip!!!!! It also gave us a greater awareness of how the culture is and works in Vancouver. Thank you for everything and if we have any friends visiting Vancouver we will recommend the tour!!!!!
Thank You

"Thanks for the great tour on Saturday. We really enjoyed learning about the culture and political environment, and hanging out with you and your friends. We were very impressed with you and we were 110% satisfied with the tour!"

"My husband and I decided to visit Vancouver on a whim, we both had a week of work, a little spending money and we need to get out of out daily routine and do something out of the norm(for us at least) We arranged for our tour guide to meet us at our hotel and at the arranged time, we were greeted in the lobby by our friendly, fun tour guide.
After a quick stroll through downtown and a little detour to see the ocean, we were at Marc Emery's Cannabis Culture store. A place I had heard about and seen on tv and the internet...and was sooo excited to be at. As soon as we walked in, it was like another world. It transported me back to S.F in the 60's, the smell of weed was wicked pungent, insense burned and we were in heaven. We looked around the shop, met and smoked with some friendly staff, then we tried out the Volcano's for the first time. It was a completely amazing expeience...and just when I thought things couldnt get any better, our tour guide took us down to the CC Magazine office to meet with Marc Emery and his lovely wife Jodie.
We chilled down there for a while and got into talking about US pot laws and prohibition with Marc and his wife. It was a profound experience and one that I will never forget.
Later in the tour, I had to "cut myself off" (a new term I learnt) I hadn't been that stoned since....well, anytime I could remember. We explored the pot block some more, then went to an amzing almost deserted parkby the ocean andmy husband and I smoked weedfor the first time in over30 years outside without the fear of going to jail.
At the end of our tour, our excellent guide ended up writing out a personalize itinerary of things to do later on in our 4 day trip to Vancouver. We ended up eating out at a place she reccomended and had the best service and food we have ever had...In canada or abroad!
I would reccommend Vansterdam Pot Tours to anybody who is thinking of heading up north to experience the best of the BC bud and wants a warm, kind guide to turn their trip from good to great!

"I recently had the opportunity to visit Vancouver, and through a wonderful series of coincidences, found a link to Vansterdam Tours. Mustering up the guts to sign up for a tour was easily the best decision I've made in at least 7 years.
Any fears I may have had were out the door within a few moments of meeting my gracious and beautiful hostess and tour guide, Kiwi. She was the first of many incredibly cool individuals I was to have the pleasure of meeting that evening.
Each individual experience will differ. Mine entailed a tour around downtown while getting confirmation that this was advertised truthfully: All tours are led by world class marijuana smoking professionals with years of experience in the city, and with the marijuana scene. Giving you all everything you need to make your experience in the city as comfortable and as hassle free as possible!
For true!
A discussion was had of the state of cannabis in Canada and B.C. in particular, the various pot holidays (there are four!) and much else lies in this hazy memory.
We arrived at the "Pot Block" and went upstairs to check out the lounge area above the BCMP bookshop. It's a bargain at $5/hr with free internet and Volcanos at every table!
Next, Kiwi guides us behind closed doors at the BCMP office! Holy crap! Next thing I know I am sitting among some of Canada's pot luminaries!!Fantastic discussion was had on all manner of things, and I had further thoughts that I might secretly be a Canadian. This portion of the tour was worth the price alone, you guys are all golden souls and way cool in my book. I was even told what I was smoking, which was actually a first for me, but damned if I can remember. :(
Finally, I got my Volcano cherry popped. It's like being able to hear again. In as few words as possible: They are worth the money.
By this time I am -done- and I am told I held up well for an out of towner, so I'm pretty proud of myself but I'm also fucking blazed.
I bid Kiwi farewell and enjoy the brisk walk back to my hotel, and I do mean enjoyed. When I got there, I kid you not, I slowed down the elevator with my brain.
I have honestly never been as high in my life. To Kiwi, I'm sure it was just Monday. :)
My friends are incredibly jealous. I think a group trip to Vancouver will have to be arranged in short order.
If you are ever in Vancouver, do yourself a HUGE favor, contact Vansterdam Tours. You'll be very glad you did"
